Key Responsibilities:
- Develop content and ensure continual learning and practice of nutritional themes for coaching and classes
- Conduct 1:1 and small group nutrition coaching and consultations respectively yielding basic TLR programming recommendations and customized plans for problem areas
- Coordinate with other practitioners to co-create treatment plans for Journey Mates
- Follow up with regular private clients via 1:1 health coaching, tracking their nutrition and lifestyle changes and progress
- Encourage healthy living and empower/inspire positive change in clients and TLR staff
- Collaborate with other hired practitioners and faculty to co-create proprietary programs and learning journeys, under direction of Programming Manager and that are owned exclusively by Octave
- Deliver workshops and programs at the TLR, other Octave sights, and at conferences, as scheduled by Programming Manager and corporate office global head of programs.
- As requested by Chefs, provide guidance and recommendations on nutritional menus and meals - helping to develop functional, nutrition and therapeutic meals and workshops
- Serve as a brand and mission ambassador of Octave and the TLR and related sites. Engage with potential partners and customers on behalf of Octave and TLR. Actively seek out and engage the wellness community
- Recommend new external presenters, partners, and potential employees to programming manger
- Work under the direction to ensure that programs and workshops are branded, marketed, and sold effectively for the TLR and other Octave sites and events.
- Deliver regular reports and feedback on customer experience and needs, attendance rates etc. to the Programming Manger and Center Director
- Create and deliver internal workshops and talks for all TLR employees to introduce wellness and nutrition content. attend cross training by other practitioners at the center.
- Recommend products and services as requested. Help to develop products and services owned exclusively by Octave to be sold at sites and online
- Work with operating team to ensure smooth running of the entire center operations.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Clinical Nutrition - best to combine training in China and international training - key focus is the China market
- Preferably with Western and Eastern understanding of Nutrition techniques - holistic nutrition as an added benefit & Macro-biotic training
- Industries Experience: Wellness industry, health industry, nutrition industry
- Geographical Experience: local and international experience optimal
- Hands on cooking experience with a preference in specialty areas - Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Macrobiotics and specialty diets - Diabetes, Stress, Liver Disease, Weight Loss, etc
- Fluent in both English and Chinese
