Description
      The software engineer is responsible for the software design, implementation, unit-testing and documentation.
      Responsibilities　
      ? To develop safe software as a medical device or part of a medical device.
      ? All staff has a personal responsibility for the safety of the personnel and the products that Elekta BMEI supplies.
      ? To ensure that all products are developed in accordance with the published software engineering lifecycle and its supporting procedures and local work instructions.
      ? To ensure that customer requirements are well understood and adequately documented.
      ? To analyze requirements and produce documented product designs utilizing approved tools.
      ? To ensure that all designs and changes are subjected to the appropriate level of review.
      ? All code shall comply with the project adopting coding standards.
      ? To make provision for adequate testing and inspection of code produced in order to ensure quality in accordance with the published verification plan. Ensure that adequate records of these verification activities are kept.
      
      Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
      · Knowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques
      · Structured and professional approach to engineering
      The following one or more are preferred to be competent:
      · Visual C++ and C# develop on Windows
      · C/C++ develop on Linux
      · Object oriented software design (UML)
      · User interface design and development
      · Relational Databases and SQL
      · RTOS programming experience is highly preferred
      · Safety critical systems development
      
      Qualifications & Experience:
      · Bachelor degree or above in relevant area or suitable background for the position
      · At least 2 years experience in software development.

      · Good written English
      · Fair spoken English
      · CET-6
